Frequently Asked EV Questions
How long will it take to charge my EV?
Depending on your model and the battery size, most Ford EVs can be fully charged in about 10 hours overnight. On the road, you can get an additional 54-60 miles in about 10 minutes with a DV fast charger and up to 80 percent in about 45 minutes, depending on the model.
Where are the charging stations?
FordPass Connect and the downloadable FordPass App are designed to spotlight convenient charging locations into your route. Once you download the free FordPass App, and activate FordPass Connect and your charging services, you’ll be set to quickly find charging stations along your travel route. As a Ford owner, you will have access to the BlueOval™ Charge Network, featuring DV fast chargers. BlueOval is the largest public charging network for eclectic vehicles with more than 19,500 stations.
How long is the estimated range?
The demonstrated range of Ford EV vehicles depends on the model and specific vehicle features. For example, the E-Transit Van with a low roof has a demonstrated range of 126 miles, but with a high roof it’s 108 miles. The Mustang Mach-E ranges from 247 to 310 EPA estimated range, and the F-150 has a 320-mile EPA-estimated range.
What happens if a charging station is down, or the station isn’t working with my vehicle?
The FordPass app has a customer service call button you can contact for help. And Ford Roadside Assistance is part of Ford warranties.
